Town of Ticonderoga EMS

Ensuring appropriate ambulance response has become increasingly challenging across the country, particularly in rural areas. CGR assisted the Town of Ticonderoga (NY) in creating a more sustainable model to ensure a timely and effective emergency medical response when we helped the Town create an ambulance district.  In December, the Town used that ambulance district to enter into a contract with the local non-profit ambulance service that will provide much needed revenue to support paid EMTs (emergency medical technicians) and assure that help will be available in critical situations. The Town will also be better informed about the performance of the ambulance through regular reporting.
