Supporting Data-Driven Anti-Poverty Work

CGR is proud to announce a new engagement with the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative (RMAPI) to provide data insights to inform the collaborative’s work to boost upward mobility in our area. RMAPI recently adopted a new Unity Agenda, broadening its focus from reducing the poverty level to promoting upward mobility for all residents lacking economic security. The Unity Agenda calls for economic success, dignity and belonging, and power and autonomy and lays out specific desired outcomes under six pillars: neighborhoods and housing; education and skill-building; rewarding work and financial security; quality health and social care; equitable and accountable government and legal systems; and inclusion, dignity and belonging.

CGR’s work will begin with collecting and analyzing data to create a baseline narrative and understanding of the community’s current state.
