A coalition of residents in Edgemont (part of the unincorporated Town of Greenburgh) have expressed their plan to submit a petition to incorporate as the Village of Edgemont. If a petition is submitted and approved, residents of the area of Edgemont would have the opportunity to vote for or against incorporation in a referendum. This study aims to inform prospective voters and members of the Town of Greenburgh of the possible operational and financial impacts incorporation could have on residents of Edgemont and the unincorporated Town of Greenburgh.
